1300DISASTER exists because of our growing network and partnerships with like-minded service providers and businesses in the community who want to provide an option for a one-stop shop and convenient number for our members to call and advise of their issues and tasks that need attention. We trialled this community concept during Cyclone Debbie in 2017 with award winning success (winners of the Resilient Australia Award - Queensland Division - 2017)! We are now wanting to take advantage of the success of utilising spontaneous surge resources before, during and after disasters, by creating the worlds first paid sovereign surge disaster response team in each region of Australia. If you have any skills that may be able to assist others in the community in all phases of disaster seasons/ events, we will pay you for your time, your travel, your PPE (personal protective equipment), meals, accommodation, super and will also provide insurance and Workcover protection during your deployment.
This membership is for any supporting individual for a 12 month period from date of purchase. Once membership purchased, a code will be supplied for individuals and families within your network to receive a 25% discount on memberships. This will then further entitle them to a 10% discount on all products and quotes for 1300DISASTER services.
